Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy
Updated May 29, 2023
Camp programs refer to programs that run on weekdays either full day from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm or half day from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Semester programs generally refer to classes that run once/twice a week.
Cancellation:
- Cancellations/Refunds/Transfer requests must be made in writing or in e-mail to info@sandboxacademy.ca.
- We require five-business-day notice before the start of the Program. All cancellations will be offered a full credit for the value of the order that can be used towards any other program, or a refund for the value of the order less 25%. Refunds will be issued to the purchasing method within 7 business days.
- For any withdrawals after the program starts, only remaining credits will be offered that can be used towards any other program, but no refunds will be offered.
- Requests for switching to a different class time or week of camp will incur no additional fee and will be granted provided there is room.
- If the Child starts our Program but misses an individual session or session due to illness, personal conflict of schedule, or other reasons, we cannot provide a make-up session or a proportional refund or credit. Still, our instructors will help the Child catch up for the next session. Exceptions will be given for private lessons where notification is provided at least 12 hours prior to the start of the class.
- Any refund requested is considered on an individual basis. Cancellation requests due to medical reasons must be accompanied by a doctor’s note at the time of the request.
- In the case where an individual session of the Program must be canceled due to a non-Covid-19 related school closure (e.g., weather-related, “snow day”), SANDBOX ACADEMY will provide a make-up class. No credit or refund would be offered in this case.
- In the case where the Program must be canceled due to a lack of students participating in the Program, SANDBOX ACADEMY will provide a credit or full refund.
